Hi everyone. My girl is 17 days from 1st mate is 15 days from second and 12 from 3rd mate. Yesterday i saw some whitish/opal coloured discharge from her "flower", i wiped her and it was not smelling and went clear on the tissue, she is very well in herself . Well it is again there today, but when i re-read "Book of the bitch " to find out why it said that this only should happen from about day 35. So why is it here now so early ? I know every dog is different and some dont follow the books, ive also read that if she was having a phantom pregnancy she could show signs of pregnancy earlier than if she really was. Do you think this is what is going on ? Early indecation of a phantom ? Or am i just lucky to get such a positive sign of real pregnancy early on ? Thanks everyone in advance. Jenny,xxx.

I have often had this in my bitches when they have been in whelp,way before day 35 and continuing through til whelping.

Saying this i also had it in a bitch that did not take but it was not there til much later around six weeks.

My girls have all had this discharge a couple of weeks after mating and have been pregnant.

my bitch has had this the last couple of days and she is on day 20 today. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, but then i wouldn't say it is def a phantom either. It is all part and parcel of the waiting game :-)
