Hi sorry not a breeding topic as such, but i need help from breeders please!
a lady i recently helped in a rescue situation ( really bad) has booked a puppy from a show and kc line litter in the devon/cornwall area

could anyone in that area with puppies, or if you know of any puppies in that area, let me have details (privatley of course!) as i would like to contact them if possible

Your post doesn't make sense.  Sorry.  Can you explain a little more.

I think she means that someone from where dogs were rescued is now lookng for another dog??  COuld be wrong, but that's how I read it.

A heads up the breed clubs is likely to be your best bet.

i could be wrong but i read it that ...youve helped a dog and took it from the lady cus she didnt look after it and now shes booked a pup and wants to worn the breedersabout her?

I thought they possibly wanted the pedigree for the dog or contact the breeder.  Unless they want to give it back to the breeder.

If she PM's me the knennel name, if she has it, I can look it up or give her the breed clubs sec's.

yes white lily, sorry yesterday was a bit rushed!

i had to take 3 dogs from her last year and one of which had a litter of less than a week old pups as she had 3 males and one female, she thinks puppies are cute, gets bored and rehomes them in an awful state, the council are constantly on at them, and the rspca have made a visit or two, but as they have shelter and water, they are fine, she is a local lady who has enjoyed her drink for several years and has several days a week in hospital with no one with the dogs, the coats are matted beyond belief, and the downstairs is covered in pee and poo from the dogs and cats,

id like to pre warn any breeders of 'show shihtzus' in the devon area incase she has booked one from them....as her last ones stayed with me in a very bad state before i helped re home them

edited to add, she had asked me to take the dogs, and i didnt relaise the state of it all til i was there, that is why i wouldnt want to see her get another!!! wanted to make it clear i didnt just go and take them!!!

As I said if they are anything like our breed then breeders network, so contact the national and if there is one regional breed club with details, and the jungle drums will do the rest.

I think most breeders talk to one another at some stage, they do in our breed so I'm sure they would in others, like brainless has said contact the breed clubs and I'm sure the message will get out there...

Did this person have Persian and Exotic cats? If so they were all removed by the RSPCA.

i dont think she did, believe it or not, her cats are all from the cats protection league! she did at one point have a pedigree longhaired cat, but it went out one day and never returned.... took her a week before she realsied :(

i have sent an email to the breeders on the kc webite with puppies down this way, and to the breed clubs, so hopefully, the details will spread, in my breed we have some useful yahoo groups too, so will try that also

Remember that people don't always go to a local breeder (often there isn't one with a litter).

In my breed I have very rarely sold a pup to anyone within 50 miles of me.

they cant travel far, as they have to go in his mobility bus, and she has a lot of fits, her mum seemed to get the impression it was quite local, im in devon inthe same town, so im assuming maybe up as far as bristol/somerset or down to cornwall, i very much doubt they can travel farther afield,
im starting to wonder though, if i should be checking papers now too, as that was probably her first place to look???

the thing is if she wants to get 1 she will sadly! even tho thier kc eg some breeders just dont care where their pups go :( its for money and thats that! so very sad! xx

well im sorry to say i have been away, come back and found out she has got her puppy from a breeder in crediton :(
ah well, we tried! the kc name sounds like patricia, but isnt, her mum cant quite remember,
