Can anybody recommend a Ring Craft class in reach of Tenby (South Wales)? The puppy is a large Gun dog breed and the owner is completely new to showing.

There is one in Haverfordwest on a Monday evening, 7.00pm to approx 8.30pm.  It's held in St Thomas's church hall, St Thomas green.  I'm not aware of another in our area, hope that this helps.

That is the one this lady goes to - perhaps she just isn't asking the right questions. That can be the problem. 30 yrs ago when I started, I didn't know enough to ask and it can be  really difficult. The puppy is a Large Munsterlander (I bred her and she was the pick). They can be either stacked or free stood. She is trying to freestand her but at shows the bitch's attention wanders and the handler hasn't the experience to re gain control. The handler is using titbits and the bitch has worked out that if she sits she will get a titbit if she stands again. (Munsters are clever b*****s). She would be better stacking her but she needs to learn how. We are about 6 hours drive away so not easy. If any one goes to that ringcraft if you can offer help advice it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
