Hello
My female EBT aged 5 has a very small skin tag looking thing near the start of her eyelashes on her eyelid. I first thought it was a seed & tried to brush it away.
I doesn't seem to bother her, but it's bothering me!
Any ideas?

A tick?

I've seen ticks years ago & it's not bulbus, it's flattish, around 2mm long, light grey colour. I've had a little eyelide wart recently, could she have caught it from me?
I would take Molly to the vets, but she's terrified. I'll keep a eye on it ('cuse the pun) & if it does grow or annoys her I will take her.

Its not a tick is it. My dog had something similar I thought it was a seed right by her eye, took her to the vet and it was a tick.

ummm, do they have to be taken off by a vet? Molly does go over the fields & sticks her head in the long grass/wheat etc

You can get a tick hook but you have to make sure they come off complete, if the legs come off it can cause an infection.

Bit close to the eye for me to remove....ekkk Do they have to be removed?

I'm no expert, I'd never seen one before my dog had one, I would get it removed if I were you though because they can carry disease. It literally took my vet seconds to get it off.

Grey and flat is right for a tick that's not engorged.  Watch and see if it changes and becomes more bulbous.  The eyelid is a very common place for ticks. 
If it is then it should be removed.  Not my favourite method, but you could try smoothering it with Vaseline before taking her to the Vet if you're not confident to remove it. :)

Ok, thank you for your info. Does the vaselin kill the tick? Do I put it on right before going to the vet or in general?

Watch to see if it changes and IS a tick first.  If it is then cover it completely with Vaseline.  The theory is that it suffocates and falls off. 
It is important to get the attached head out when removing a tick so if you're not confident, then let your Vet see it.

Don't smother the tick with Vaseline or anything else. If the tick is smothered, it may regurgitate the blood mixed with its own toxins back into your pet which can increase the risk of disease. I didn't know this until very recently and have suggested it to people in the past.
