Sadly no mention of JH though :( and looks like a long day as in AVNSC and AV Gundog after Goldies.

But very helpful as they have given the number of dogs entered :)

Excuse me for butting in Sue, but where in Crawley Down do they hold it?  Is it in the Village Hall?  Hope you have a good day.

Rach, won't be there, got a couple of Breed club shows coming up & a certain young man requires bootcamp :-O

Caroline,

Its at the Haven Centre. We've not used this venue before so will let you know what its like - normally use the leisure centre in Leatherhead for this show, which is very good but they are doing some refurb I believe.
We've used the leisure centre in Henfield before and I loved it there, green grass and car park to walk dogs. It is only 10 mins from my house max - added bonus :-)

Thanks Sue, I used to live in CD (but the main road bit) - very convenient for Ardingly, unlike now where nowhere is "convenient"

Maddog(Caroline),

Right we've had our show and can say it is not a good venue for large dogs at all. The hall is good for ringcraft, maybe even smaller to what i'm used to. People sat around on chairs with dogs who kept sniffing the exhibitors in the ring(argh) or were just plain a distraction for being so close.
We'd done a few strides before turning a corner, not great to show off movement..

There is an area outside which could of been used, but the grass needed cutting and it was very wet(still felt outside a better option).. heyho..

So no as it stands not a venue to recommend for a large breed or a breed with high numbers or even a breed which uses a lot of crates and grooming equipment space.
