Sorry Nessa you can't until the show day when they will be listed in the catalogue. You may be able to find out numbers even numbers in each class but not the names.

As it is a breed show you would probably have to phone the show secretary but they are not obliged to tell you unless you need to know for travelling or something like that. Say you were in Junior and you know that the MPB is at 2.00 you could and phone to ask how many in MPB & BP so you would know about what time the junior class will be judged but if you are just interested in how many are in you class it would be best to wait and see.

You are not given this information, you find out on the day.  Good luck for the show.

Just to echo what some have already said but virtly all breed club shows do not publish their entries, not even the total entries, like the General Champ shows do. You will have to wait until you get there before you find out. As a breed sec (when I was)I would not of said what individual class numbers were & would not want to be contacted to have been asked either(friendly advice...secretaries are very busy people)

You won't be able to find out how many per class till on the day but you may see the number of dogs entered printed in the breed notes of Dog World or Our Dogs a few days beforehand. I know our breed writers do it for my breed.

I am happy to be asked about numbers if people have reason to ask like travelling arrangements or have a litter at home but not too happy if it is just curiosity.

Nessa, don't get too wound up it will transfer to your puppy and you will find she will play you up, try to persuade yourself that you are going to look at other peoples dogs and might just have a go yourself if you feel you want to. A relaxed handler helps the dog relax and pups will get over excited without help from you, but above all enjoy, dog shows are a great day out, chance to chat to loads of people and to see some lovely dogs.

What I love about this forum is how you get caught up in other people's lives - I'll be sitting at home at the weekend thinking 'I hope she's getting on ok'! :-)

Too true Lucy Dogs, as they say a trouble shared is a trouble doubled but it certainly takes your mind off your own :-) I have found that sometimes I am giving information or advice that I could do with thinking about myself, not sure that makes any sense but it will if you have done it.

As a heads up we were there for a breed show this weekend just gone.
Allow yourself time as there's road works and major upgrading/building works going on
so there is only the parking in the fenced area and that's it. The parking that used to be
to the rear and not near the tennis courts where they have the outside rings approx 20-25 spaces
is now all a building area..as well as the lane that led round to the rear of the sports hall and the above spaces,
So you might not want to leave it too late to arrive and get parked.

Good Luck! :)

thanks for that but only live about 15mins away so am getting dropped off and picked up parking is always packed as used to walk there to watch dog shows when I was younger lol

Your right about the tension running down the lead so might bring the rescue remedy with me just in case as she doesn't need help with playing around with tension she always wanting to meet everybody lol

Thanks just know i'm gonna get the show bug and just gonna keep saying it's a fun night at ringcraft (larger scale tho) lol
