There is a groomers forum on the technogroom website. The people on it are really friendly and helpful.

You will have to be careful when buying grooming books as the majority are written for the American market. Some breeds are groomed the same here as they are over there but some are really different (setters for example).

Good luck with your course!

wattadog is brill and if you get past 50 posts, another section opens up with instuctional vids.  Really good for pet/grooming purposes but not much good for show grooming advice.

Friend has replied this am. She said there is a grooming forum on yahoo but it is mostly American.
She reccomends a site started by Heidi Anderton of Absolutely Animals www.absolutelyanimals.biz they have a forum.

Regarding books she said she wouldn't be without Notes for the Grooming Table, pricey at £45 ish but worth it. Another one is Grooming Manual for the dog and cat by North & Angus.

Hope this helps.
