yes my flat coat had it at about 8m of age gave him very very bad diarrhoea.  he was treated using enroflaxin (baytril).  Recovered well, i had to collect three days of poo samples after to the antibiotics to confirm it had gone.

My dog had it at 3yrs old but it is most common in puppies. You probably already know it can be passed to humans so be very careful with washing hands after handling your dogs faeces etc. It is treated with a course of antibiotics but your dog can be a carrier of it and it can re accur at times of stress.
Hope that helps.

I once visited a kennel, and didn't know they had the problem, until I ended up in hospital very, very ill.  So it shows how easy it is to be passed on to humans.  At one point, my temperature went through the roof, and I felt as if I was going to have a heart attack.

I was fortunate, as I had a young litter of my own.  They were all fine, and my dog sitter moved in.  But I hadn't realised how easy campy spreads.

I have a litter aged 9 weeks getting treated for this at the moment. 3 in the litter of 5 have it and I would say have had for 2 weeks before a sample proved it to be this. My pups lost so much weight I was really concerned but they have all been on antibiotics for 4 days now and are all gaining their weight..............thank god!!

I have to say appart from the projectile diarrhea and obvious weight loss they were brill in themselves. I did catch it myself but was fine after a few days.
