Right after my whole issue a few years ago trying to get a suit, which I did and every time i've worn it (3 times) its been nothing but unlucky, so its out - must put on ebay!!
I think i've found the right outfit, should the skirt fit
http://www.joules.com/en-GB/Womens-Tweed-Mini/Toad-Green/J_HEATHERTWEED/ProductDetail.ractionAnd then to decide whether i go for jacket or the waist coat and fab white flowy/ruffly shirt...
I'm off to order it now, fingers crossed it fit...
I love tweed, got I must be getting older to say that ;-)
And then a cheap version of the dubarry boots...I think...Maybe the boots are wrong... Anyway....

I like that skirt, I'm going for a skirt this time as well although to hide my pins it will be a longer one lol

I like it, love the jackets too and I'm tempted myself with those dubarry boots :)

I'm short and a long skirt would rather silly as part of a suit for me.. lol.. I'm hoping though this skirt gives me enough room to move, or i'll have to starve myself to get legs like that model..

I know your a women.
But someone who doesn't, but thinks your Norman posting, will have quite a shock, and they'll think they have logged into Campdogs and not Champdogs.LOL
Lovely skirt and like the "toad green" colour. My only concern would be bending over in it, but maybe you don't have a breed which you stack?

I'll give it a go bending over when I get it... :-D
The breed should walk into position, but sometimes a few feet adjustments are needed...

Whoaaa check you out - and so organised!!! looked at the price mind you - GULP!!! As you said need to be able to run in it - it does seem a tad 'tight' and definitely check bending over! Last thing you need is to worry you can't run properly and then worry bending over! We can see the headlines now - Bernerse handler flashes :) :)
Its gorgeous though!

Thanks Rachel, just look at my catelogue they sent me and in the proper picture it is very loose on the girl(but she is stick thin)..
Also have 10% off code with free p&p, so checking out what else I can buy, even if I send it back :-D
> it is very loose on the girl(but she is stick thin)..
and of course you yourself are like a blobby!!! I think I might describe you as stick thin hun :)

Ok.... She has no meat/muscle on her thighs, I do(thankfully)... I do however need to tone up!!!, hence my request for a jogging partner ;-)

sorry can't help jogging would love to but think the 5 hr round trip to Ryton didn't help Saturday (worth it of course!) but knee is a mess!

Shouldn't worry about bending over Sue, you'll look nothing like that pic that was doing the rounds of the large lady at a show bending over her little dog exposing stuff that shouldn't see the light of day.

Very nice Sue, love the waistcoat and jacket but would need inches more of the skirt the very shortest I would consider is 36" but I love that jacket, very tempted.

Because you can bet you'll be in Dog Show Fashion Police before the day is out!

Love the waistcoat!! ditto the skirt but I'm way too old for a miniskirt! I always wear a jacket but think a waistcoat might be easier for lifting dogs up and down from table etc.

I'm liking the waistcoat the more I look at it and its versatile too. Plus it does get hot when doing Crufts - probably the nerves hitting through, so actually i'll be saving myself some money there too.
Going to order a shirt from them, if not then its a hunt for a white/oat coloured one to go with :-)
Either way I want something I can wear out and about beyond dog showing and if the skirt is right I will do.

Nice pattern but I would only ever have a trouser suit by preference as well as finding it easier for dog showing, I hate skirts. I think I'm best in grey because I have both tricolour (black and white mostly) and blenheim (red and white) and so it's tricky getting a colour which complements all three colours of my dogs. Need to try on the various grey suits lurking in my wardrobe before Boston next year....

After reading your post, I happened to go past a Joules shop this afternoon, so popped in to have a look. The tweed is a very nice shade of green in real life, though it wouldn't be for me, as I think I'd find it a bit scratchy (that's just me though). The waistcoat by the way doesn't have real pockets - bear that in mind if you were thinking of them being useful for bait.

Ooh, thanks for that. I've made the decision to drive to Guildford on friday to have a shop and think they have a Joules, so going to try it all on then and see what I think...

Nooooooo...:-(
Went into Horsham today which is nearer and tried the skirt on, one size is too tight and the next size too loose... Its lined so it just doesn't fit... oh well, will have to find something else to wear now :-(... Sods flaming law that what I like doesn't fit... It was the right length, had enough stretch to move about in, but the waist wasn't right.
Had a peek at other suits and things in the department store.. Skirts are all calf length which makes me look dumpy..
