I didn't know she had a new 1 out, I will have to try this, I have had 2 of her others in the past, both nice not sure I'd buy them again though, quite an acquired taste I feel. Boudoir and Libertine.

I haven't tried it but love boudoir, totally my smell but quite difficult to get hold of these days.

Boudoir - this is meant as some kind of compliment I suppose to the aroma, because I too liked the smell (but not enough to buy it again). To me it smells of raw sex, if there is such a smell. Very musky, slight pefumery, sensual smell of bodies after a long warm floral bath. I haven't tried it in a while, but maybe I might just give it another go. I have used Jean paul Gaultier Classique for the last few years. But my mum is going to Lisburn next week for a holiday so I'll ask her to try and buy me a bottle from duty free.

Debenhams sells it.

Is it similar to Jean Paul Gaultier at all

Kind of in a musky, sensual way, but not as heavy. That said I do prefer and wear more often Jean Paul Gaultier Classique summer limited edition, much lighter for the day. Classique or I would say Boudoir for night time...depends what you want to get up to..LOL

Hi Lel, long time no see.  I would describe it as a fruity floral with musk which doesn't sound very appealing but it is lovely.  The blurb to sell it describes it as  "This classic Vivienne Westwood fragrance has top notes of viburnum, bergamot and mandarin; middle notes of red rose and base notes of tobacco flower and heliotrope".

Cheekychow, which perfume are you describing?  I've been wearing a limited edition Obsession perfume, but can't get it anymore.  I don't like florally perfumes, so this sounds like something I might like.

I could be wrong, but I think she is describing Vivienne Westwoods Boudoir.

Thanks for the tip - I don't like floral either and really hate fruity!

There is only one perfume I have ever had which seems to suit me, and that is Obsession. It's the only one where I have had people regularly saying, "oooh you smell nice! what is it?" - everything else seems to vanish on me. Which is a pity since I used to buy lots of nice ones.... but only Obsession suited me!

It's ok, they still do Obsession, just not the Sheer one, which was slightly lighter and I liked it better for during the day.
