That's the one Sian, described it badly. Was really hoping it was Greek as a friend is doing a greek HTM routine and I found one in a charity shop for 20p :-)
Not a long spout but they do have two. Try Navajo wedding vase or I believe used in Eastern countries such as Iran.

I doubt the ancient greeks used glassware. More like pottery. But probably any modern pub in tourist locations these days have that drinking vessel, encourages more drinking I wouldn't wonder. So maybe your friend could put a spin on a modern day Greek HTM routine :)
Would the routine include Greek folk dancing as well, with the dog? sounds cool.
Maybe use the vessel to have a slurp from before the routine for dutch courage 'n all.
