I'm new to the forum and thought it was about time I joined in but I have been busy reading everything. I was just wondering my bitch had puppies 2 weeks ago and everything is going really well, when do you normally give them a bath to freshen them up.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I didn't want to wash her too soon in case it took her sent away for the puppies.

I have a coated breed so although I trim around the obvious areas before, they do get a bit mucky. So I often just sponge down the mucky bits, and make sure she is dry before letting her back with puppies, so that they don't get wet and chilled. I would have thought a quick bath at least of the grimy parts should be fine for your girl.
