They say
"it takes a village to raise a child" but in this case a dog :) ,.. i would just like to say to the folks on here well done and thank you, i think this is great forum, i like the community spirit that you share.
i myself have posted a couple of times and people have been helpful, but i mostly just log in and have a read, which i do enjoy...
people are very helpful and supportive especially the regular posters, nothing is too big or small to ask whether it be dog related or just a general question,
so please keep it up it is very much appreciated even if no one does not say so.
Have a good day :)
I 2nd that. I agree with you ny, it certainly beats looking at that 40" box in the corner of the living room any day. lol

Same here , it becomes a bit of an addiction . I just have to follow up on threads I've read , so log in everyday incase I miss anything!

Same here, it's nice to occasionally be able to help, and to get the support if you need it. This morning for example my girl came in rubbing her muzzle frantically against the furniture, it was red and a bit swollen, and from here I knew she might have tried to eat something or got stung by something and it would be a good idea to try Piriton before rushing to vets, she stopped rubbing it almost at once and was fine at lunchtime.

I quite agree I lurked for a long time before joining here and I've always found a wealth of information, sometimes agreeing with what was in my head and sometimes not - if that was the case I would go away and have a re-think then decide. It's great to have somewhere to turn that has so many years experience to draw upon, and gather opinions.
Same here Im following so many threads Im an Addict - My Name is Vivienne and Im a CD addict.

no,its obsessiveCOLLIE disorder,.Ive got it!
I too 2nd the thank you! My girlfriend and I took a litter in after the mother died, we had no experience at all but the people on this forum gave us tons of support and confidence.
Members helped us keep the 2girls and 3boys alive. We have found excellent homes for 4 of them and we kept one boy. They are 19 weeks old now and my young one is huge! It's amazing to think without all your help, just a few months ago he might not have made it.
Thank you!
Neal, I have wondered how you got on in the long term, glad to hear all is well and you have a boy to remind you of your experience.
Best wishes for a long happy life together.

So pleased to hear it alll went well, enjoy your youngster aand keeping in touch with the other pups new owners, as I am with mine who are close to yours in age.
Have you a link to any photos?

So glad to hear that all went well with those babies Neal, I remember what a difficult situation that was. Well done to you!!
I too have found this Forum to be brilliant! Even when you consider yourself quite an experienced dog owner, there is always something which can come up for which you don't have the answer, and likewise, when someone is asking something you yourself have experienced, then you can give some help back. This truly is an information exchange!
It's great to be able to ask for advice without being shot down in flames or made to feel you are incompetent... that means so much!!
And as for addictive..... of course :)
I have soooo many photos which I can share, I will put them on one of thoes photo sharing websites and post a link at some point this weekend!
I feel like a proud dad! lol :D
