Personal recommendations please regarding which harsh coat shampoo is most effective?  Longer-coated dog.  Tired of companies making false claims!  Thanks.

Apple shampoo I think from the Animal Health co, I use it on Borders and some of my Westie clients. Also used it on my friend's Briard and he took the CC at Crufts a few years back, critique commented how lovely his coat was! Of course shampoos can't work miracles, but they can help a little.

Ive recently tried the MD10 texture shampoo and conditioner. Really pleased with the results on my Keesy girls coats. Best one I've found so far.

MD-10 is the BEST!  Luckily the harsh coat one is suitable for both my SPanish and my Pomeranian's.  I was shocked when we bathed the Pom's in it their coats were actually a different colour than they'd ever been when we bathed them.  Suzie who'd always looked a mucky wolf sable when bathed looked like a lovely pale orange.

PM me and I will give you Norika's e-mail address who sells the MD-10 shampoo here. It has been sold in Europe for years and Norika has recently started selling it here.  She does attend quite a few of the southern shows now.
