Just getting keen and booking into Manchester for next year, I want to stay somewhere the night before with the 2 Cavs. I see Travelodge now charges per dog, but seems to still be cheaper than Holiday Inn. Any other recommendations?

http://www.welcomebreak.co.uk/hotel/days-inn-telford  Days Inn Telford is only about 20 minutes from Stafford, it is off the M54 but it is not a noisy location.  Pets welcome - I stayed in one this year in Scotland and it was far nicer than any Travelodge and the 2 dogs were accepted at no extra cost.

I thought about driving there in the morning but I don't fancy getting up at 4.30am! Have found a B&B for £25 just the wrong side of Stafford. Aargh, if you have Tulip sisters in MPB there goes any hope for Hetty! :-D

Just worked it out, it's not Tulip's sisters as they will just be out of MP it will be Laura's full sisters - Lily and Lace. They will be 7 months.
