Hi guys

I am looking into getting may lad hip scored, he is a 16month old German Shorthaired Pointer, and weighs 32kg +, I very interested to know how much your vet charges for this procedure? I have had a quote of £230.00!! this more than I had antisipated.

Any info will be greatfully received.

If yoru Vet uses GA it is about what mien woudl charge.  I go to one that does it with Sedation and paid a lot less (£155) but had to travel.

My girl February this year, weighs 35kg, hips, elbows and BVA fee was £236.  Some vets in this area wanted that for hips alone.

I have been quoted £405 for hips/elbows/bva/ga from my vet for a 50kg dog. Her litter sister (so @ same size) had hers done last year different vet, cost £315.
