I have been approached about using my dog as a stud, and was wandering what the charges are, or the approx prices, as i can not find any information on this matter.

Charges for a stud dog can vary,depending on the breed and also the dog itself :ie how many show
qualifications entered and won,but in most cases in can be the pick of the litter or the price of the first
puppy sold.Check local papers for going rate of the breed and also if dealing with somebody you dont know
get something in writing to say monies owed once a vet has confirmed the bitch is pregnent.GOOD LUCK.

hi guest also check out the bitch is she worthy of your dog as stud, are her owners resonsible and will the pups be registered and future owners vetted? are both your dog and their bitch suitable.... hip scored and eye tested relevant to the breed.
there is plenty to consider and you shouldnt just enter into it for the payment breeding should not be taken lightly it needs to be looked into carefuly.
