If you're in the least worried, pop along to the vet for a scan.  At the least, he can reassure you that no pups are presented badly, and it would put your mind at rest.

I don't like mine going over, so understand your worry.

It can really depend on breed. Some breeds hardly ever get to 63 days, where in my 2 breeds i wouldnt be concerned until day 65 and if mum is well and happy and puppies are moving around, no black/green/red discharges then i would give her another day or so to show you some signs of early labour. But if your at all uneasy then a vet check may put your mind at rest.

Good luck :)

My girl went 4 days over but she only had two though looked as though she was going to have more.  Pups were fit and healthy.  I didn't really worry as I cd. still feel movement strongly on the expected day of birth.

As others have said a lot also depends on the breed.

Hi there. An average is 63 days but they can go up 75 days. Our Border Terrier bitch went as long as 70 days but she only had two pups. Its when there isn't enough room that the pups start the process off

If one of my bitches was 12 days overdue, I would be having a seizure!

I agree white lilly.  But then, even with a large breed I wouldn't expect to leave a bitch 12 days, and it's got to be remembered that novices will read this board, and may think that being overdue is normal, so not getting veterinary advice when needed.

I had heart failure when I read 12 days - I knew a silly terrier owner that left her bitch 7 days over before doing anything.  Eventually, a vet visit found a decomposing puppy in the birth canal.  So I would always, always recommend that any newbie breeder acted on the side of caution.
