I have just been reading up on water babies (Puppies) Signs a bitch may have trouble are - Drinking lots, nipples and area around the nipple have a shiny appearance and can have a discharge. Has anyone had experience of this? What was the outcome?

I have no experience but believe it's an awful thing - pups have great difficulty being born and usually need a c-section.  Few survive, most die horribly or are pts.
