I've already got a rolled leather half check all in one but my staff pup doesn't seem to be taking to it i've heard something about a martingale(hope spelt right)in fabric can anyone pass on some links.
I've seen what the staffs wear but not sure if i like these so any of your opinions much appreciated or any help in what i should use(not check chains) thanks

To be honest, I think that if you use something very different to what others exhibitors use, you will stand out like a sore thumb saying "novice". There is usually a good reason behind what becomes norm in a breed, such as showing off a neck, not interfering with coat, and similar.

http://www.dajan.co.uk/Halters.html have Bull Terriers themselves and they make all braid and all webbing half checks as well as ones with chain.

they also make the head-collars (obviously not for showing) that work really well for mine.
