The thread will have been pulled for some reason - perhaps it went too far off topic or became offensive.

This seems to be the message you get if the thread or post has been removed for some reason, not very informative but I think that it means you are unable to access the post(s) you are interested in.

Oh! I see! I didn't intend to start anything that would cause disruption. Oh dear! Sorry!

It doesn't necessarily mean that the topic has disappeared for ever. If a post has been reported Admin will look at that post and edit or remove it and then reopen the topic once they have has the time to assess the topic in question.

Some topics you know will go pear shaped quite quickly but others take you by surprise.  I expect it will come back with a few edits and maybe a clue about why it went :)
