Forgive me if this is a little morbid for a Saturday Morn but still........

I am playing a song as I type, a song that I played at a sad time last year when my previous dog, Spencer died of Lymphoma. I played it during those final few days of his life, I'd play it over and over and stupidly get all upset. It's a beautiful song written by a beautiful songstress - Stevie wrote this song about her dad who at the time was also dying of cancer :(

This is Our Tune - Stevie Nicks - Goodbye Baby

Does anyone else have a certain song that reminds them of a particular moment in their life? Any special song from any special moment?

3 for me-'We Have All The Time In The World" is my mam and dads funeral song (heard it once after my dad died a few years ago), 'Stay' by East 17 was played at my school friends funeral after she killed herself, and the last one being, 'I Think I'm Paranoid' by Garbage. No funeral this time, we (me and hubby) used to listen to it while.....'amusing ourselves' in my bedroom when I lived at home when we first got together :o ! My bedroom had stripped floorboards, and you could see throughout the gaps into the kitchen below. Now I'm guessing you could hear everything if in it, so we figured Garbage would drown out any noises!

Yester me,yester you, yesterday. By Stevie Wonder, my mum always loved this song and when ever I hear it I am in floods of tears,I think it may have meant somthing to her as my dad passed away quite young.

That one is beautiful- makes me think of my niece who passed away 4yrs ago (17yrs)- still find it hard to accept- guess its more learning to live with the loss like my sister does and put on a happy smile- tearing now as I write this :-(

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol reminds me of my brother in law who died  4 years ago very suddenly aged 48, and so does Black, It's a wonderful life which was played at his funeral.

After I'd was on my way home after I'd been to the vets to have Ellie pts a year ago last January I was driving home and stopped at some traffic lights and the theme to The Littlest Hobo came on the radio which made me sob my heart out, so that reminds me of her.
