Is it okay to give my dog cranberry juice? Just wondering cause T-Bone in the past has had a kidney/bladder infection and was wondering would that help? No she does not have one now. I no it helps with people so just curious if it could do the same for dogs.

I gave it my bitch for a week when she had a UTI but stopped as soon as the infection had cleared.

Its good for taking the acid out of the urine and is supposed to help stop the infection sticking to the bladder wall.

I wouldn't give it to her now, as a preventative.  Unless she has another problem, I would then give it her again,  but that would be given along with ab's from the vet.

Cranberry has an effect on the clotting of blood so although it would be of no problem giving it to most dogs it would be as well to avoid giving it to any who have or may have any of the many bleeding problems.
