We had a new Sky HD box installed last week and I am getting really annoyed with the recording.

It happily says it has recorded stuff but when you go into the program is says 'recording interupted please wait........'

Any ideas as I have lost some recordings of programs I follow every week which is really irritating !

Have you checked the signal strength and quality, as that would be the likely reason for it failing? If so you might need to get them back out to look at your LNB. Did they put a new dish up or use an existing one. Our old sky+ box used to fail sometimes when heavy rain affected the signal.

This may sound really daft Lucy but ours was doing the same UNTIL we move the cordless phone and plugged it in elsewhere. We had the engineer out 4 times , the last one told us and honestly it fixed it :-D

Nothing changed apart from the box. it has managed to record every come dine with me this week but failed everything else !
