hi there i was wondering if you lovely knowledgeable people could help!

Yesterday i noticed my pug pup (20 weeks) is getting a small balding patch on her side maybe no bigger than a 10p. I pull her fur back were it is balding and her her pink skin there is tiny TINY black specks....no other specks on her skin apart from were the little balding bit is.
Do you think this could be mites?...

She was at the vet getting chipped yesterday morning and they neve noticed it...i just noticed it last night when she was playing.

any clues?!

On a black skinned dog it could be the hair follicle openings left behind where the hair has gone... this doesnt explain the hair loss however.

The vet needs to examine her and find the cause.

I have a feeling its the older pug that may have pulled some of her fur out.... but shes pinked skin so i thought it would be pink specks?!

Are you certain she doesn't have fleas and your seeing flea dirt?

she DEF doesnt have fles...... She has been flea treated already by the vet. along with the other dogs.

shes not itchy or anything just her usual normal happy self. Its strange. Its just a wee balding patch on her side a small patch. Its not toally bald tho, but going that way.
