Our 7 month old has been sick 5 times since 4 am, she's is fine in herself just wondering how long to starve her for and if it's best to feed her chicken and rice or fish and rice?

Is it "proper" sick or just yellow bile? Any problems the other end?

The 1st 2 were proper, then bile hasn't been sick since 6.15am, seems bright not drinking yet though.

if this continues then i would give the vet a ring as you don't want your dog to dehydrate but if things have settled down then i'd feed small meals of rice and chicken and see how that goes. i wouldn't starve a dog this young but your vet can advice you if your worried.
if things don't settle down then i would pop to the vets, just in case there's any other reason for the sickness ie your dogs eaten something bad etc.

Definitely try to keep the fluids up. You could try boiling up a piece of chicken in plain water and give her small amounts of the broth, I'm sure she'd drink that. Then a little later try her with the boiled chicken piece and cooked potato (I prefer potato to rice). 2 or 3 small meals a day for a couple of days and hopefully she'll be on the road to recovery. If in any doubt consult your vet. She's probably eaten something "unpleasant" whilst you've been out with her.

Thanks. We just had gentle potter for 10 mins around the block and she came home and had a drink. So thats good! Will try her with some food later. Sure your right she's always got her nose in something!!

How's your pup doing now?

She's fine now. We kept her on chicken and potato for a couple of days then she was back to normal. Thanks for asking and thanks for you advice.
