My bitch went into season last year on 25th September, she had a litter of puppies on 27th November.
I missed her next season as I was in the states with a sick relative and my mother didn't know when she had her season.
can i expect her to come into season the same time this year? or with her having a litter of puppies does it give her a whole new cycle starting when the puppies were delivered i.e november 25th?

Depends on how often she came in season before she had her pups. Some come in season slightly earlier than usual after a litter, some don't

Mine are always at least a month later than if they had not had pups.

Mine always came in 5 months from the birth of their litter.

Well that would generally be 7 1/2 months after their last season, so assuming  6 months cycle that would be a month later than normal.

THere's no rule.  My girl had a pup last November and still hasn't had a season yet, not complaining though although I'd like her to have another season fairly soon.

Ellie came in a month later last time, then cycled at 8 months instead of 7 until the season where I planned to mate her again, where she went back to 7 months and scuppered all my carefully made plans! Be interesting to see what she does this time....
