Does anyone know the best place to buy some white big pebbles from for my garden? Everywhere Ive tried so far are too expensive :-(

Have you tried a sand and gravel type quarry, there is one by me that allows the public to buy different types of aggregates including garden stones and gravel but I'm in N Wales. They were much cheaper than a DIY chain.

They are expensive unfortunatly.
The best place to try are builders merchants, But even trade prices that I get them for are expensive for things like that. (labour put high taxes on agregates so anything like that shot up in price a few years ago :( )
I bought a small bag(25kg) of canterbury spa the other week and it was nearly £8 a bag!!!!
Sorry not much help

You could try Dandy's - I've recently bought topsoil from them

Alternatively try ringing a few garden centres or nurseries, some of the smaller ones and those that supply plants to landscape gardeners etc have quite good contacts and might be able to help.

Finally check eBay or your local Freecycle - people who are redesigning their gardens just want to get rid of stuff like this and don't realise it still has a value.
