my bitch had her puppy just over 3 weeks ago, she was 13oz born an is 4lb 2day!!! was wondering if singltons stay larger or if they just calm down, not that it matters puppy brain has taken over the family again and peanut is going nowhere! lol

I had a singleton, he's called Peanut too LOL, a Papillon. His mother is oversized for her breed but Peanut is spot on the right size. He was huge as a pup but then slowed down to stay just right.

My singleton is smaller than her older brothers were at that age, but my friend reckons she is still quite big for her age. But then both mum and dad are near the top end of the standard.
