does anyone know how long morning sickness roughly lasts as are bitch is showing signs very quiet & loss of appetite. she is 27 days since she was mated??

Sounds about the right time, but all bitches vary, so I think you just need to wait and see.

You're not the first, and you certainly won't be the last!  :-)

Lots of people have brought up this subject before.  They worry us to death, and refuse even hand fed delights, and we have all sorts of ideas about what will happen - just like you are now.

I have only had one girl that (in my eyes) was not eating enough to keep a sparrow alive.  Like many others, she whelped just fine, pups were normal, and she suddenly found her appetite.

I realise that your concern is perfectly normal, but you will probably find she will start eating AFTER your hair has gone grey.  :-)  :-)

I am sure that, as long as she is otherwise healthy, you will find things will be fine.

That made me chuckle :)

One of my girls ate almost nothing at all for the last 2-3 weeks of her pregnancy, i mean handfed a little morsel, i was worried sick the whole time as she was huge so she had no room for food but i was really worried the puppies would be malnourished and tiny.

She had 13 puppies ALL good sizes and all thrived and a few days after the birth her appetite kicked in and she ate like a horse and got back in fab condition very quickly so i know its easier said than done but try not to worry.....she knows best

Good luck :)
