I have been given a set of window wizards to clean my upstairs windows. When my friend gave them to me she laughed and told me they were useless!!
Well I have to agree with her cos I tried them and they dont work anywhere nearly as good as they make out on the tv adverts.
And whatever you do dont put them close together without a pane of glass between them as you can break your fingers!!
Offered them back to her and she refused!!
Dustbin is the best place for them!!

Is that those magnetic things with a sponge ad a squeegee,they do work well with practice, used to have a set when I lived in an upstairs falt

Yes those are the ones.
I have leaded windows and think thats the problem as they move ok till I hit the lead! just as well they come with a long cord attached or I would have ended up making lord knows how many trips to retreive the wretched thing from the front garden lol.
They fall off in the blink of an eye when they hit the lead but you have to have the strength of Hercules to seperate them if they snap together!!

Ahhh yes I had a huge front window that was impossible to clean other then climbing out along the sill, they worked really well on that, but not so good on the smaller windiows
