Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any any handy hints for removing nail polish from clothing/bedding?
My little 4 year old daughter decided to paint her own nails while my older daughter was playing make-overs with her friends in their bedroom! As a result we had nail polish all over our little girls legs which we have managed to remove however her favourite 'Hello Kitty' bedding is now covered in blue nail polish and it's looking like we may have to bin it!!!
Any ideas?

have you tried using nail polish remover and dabbing it onto the bed covers, may take a while and not get it all out but worth a try.

Thanks, I'm going t give nail varnish remover a try now. I was afraid it might remove the colour from the duvet cover but it's worth a shot.
Fingers crossed!!!

Hi, I've tried using the nail varnish remover on the duvet and using a white cloth to rub it off with. It has removed some of the smaller splashes however it hasn't made much difference to the larger 'puddle!'
The nail varnish remover didn't discolour the duvet cover so it was certainly worth a try.

Sure there is a stain devil that might get rid of the nail polish.
Not sure if it will damage the bed cover colours thou

However it still might be worth persevering with the NP remover...it might take a few go's?

I used dry cleaning fluid on a duvet when I spilt tippex on the duvet and it ended up dissolving the fabric so be cautious.

Someone I know who's daughter had spilt bright red nail varnish on their carpet used Mr Muscle with good results - might be worth a try.
