Is there a difference between a King Charles Spaniel and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

The King Charles Spaniel has a flatter face and more domed head than the Cavalier. I also believe that the King Charles is docked whereas I am not aware of any Cavaliers that are.

King Charles are smaller & are sometimes docked & sometimes not.They are nowhere near as available as the cavaliers
They both have the same four colours but in the Cavalier no ticking or flecks in the white of Blemheims or tri colours is allowed
The Cavaliers also tend to be much more outgoing & energetic
