Can anyone point me in the direction of a UK breeder of Small Munsterlanders.  We can't find one anywhere - I know there aren't many in the whole of Europe so I'm also worried the gene pool might be small?

Guidance would be welcome as it seems a perfect family dog (young children) in our rural setting.

There aren't any breeders in the uk at present, sorry. You will have bring one in from abroad if you want one.

There are plenty Large Munsterlander breeders though. And there are a few German Longhaired Pointers too.

I have Large Munsterlanders, live in the countryside, and have kids and grandkids. They are wnderful dogs. :-p Not that I am biased in any way ;-)

There were 2 litters born in the UK but the breeder is now abroad so the breeding programme is in a plateau at the moment.    There is one member of this forum who has a Small Munsterlander & lives in the Midlands, I will get her to reply to you as she may know of any planned imports - there was talk at one point about importing from Holland.
