East Kent is down in Maidstone, not too bad a trek if you're near the M25. Or Reading or Maidenhead I think is around then. Try prodogs, that's where I look for shows. I used to live in north London and although it was handy for the motorway, there weren't really any shows actually nearby.

Reading DCS holds their shows at Montem Leisure Centre, Slough normally towards the end of Nov.
Wealdstone and Northolt hold a show there just after Christmas.
Bucks CS used to hold a show there early January think it was around 6/7 Jan.
But know someone was saying they needed a secretary else they weren't able to hold one next year.
Don't know if they managed to get one.
Thames Valley CS also holds shows at Montem.
Henley DCS hold a show at the end of January at Rivermead leisure centre, Caversham, Reading.
Maidenhead DCS holds theirs at same venue in mid Feb.
Then you have Camberley DCS they have  their shows at Woking Leisure Centre in Woking Surrey.
That's normally mid to third weekend in November.

You also have a few shows at Ardingly, so not sure how far away that is for you, depending where in London you are located.
Also there are a few in Essex as well if you're that side

If you wanted to go out a little further, Barking Canine club is hold it's Open show on Sat 9th October, at Towerlands Park, Braintree Essex.  It's a straight journey up the M11 off at junction 8 onto A210.
