Hi All

Somebody on the board has recommended natural instinct raw food which doesn't contain any rice, its just meat and fruit/veg my westie i am sure has got an allergy to rice as have tried the same meat without rice and he gets no reaction but putting rice in he then gets spots and starts scratching, i have looked on their website and it looks a good food but just wondered if anybody else feeds this and how they find it before i look more into it for him.
It says it is as near to BARF as you will get

I have met the guys who started this company and they seem really nice, and gave me some samples. It seems a good alternative to making your own barf based meals. It seems balanced, fresh and uses good base products and an easy and uncomplicated way to start feding raw. However my main moan would be the price.Fine if you only have 1 small dog,but prohibited if like me you have 10 dogs.I feed raw and when I actually have to pay for the food(I get it for free at work but am on sick leave at the moment) it still only costs me about £2 a day for all of them.

Hi i have just spoken to them and they suggested trying him on the chicken variety first and adding natural yoghurt to his meal as they said as he has been on AB's this will get the gut working properly again, they feel the anal gland problem will resolve and have said to give it a try for 3 weeks and see how he goes, they are at the bournemouth show on Saturday so may go down and get some packs from them there, shame they don't supply petshops as it would be easier to get locally.
Thanks for tomorrow will let you know how he gets on
