I had an email today from a lady who had seen the advert on my website for "doggy calendar models wanted" and was wanting to include her little darling. I asked the breed and was told it was "a paphuahua"!! I explained that I only wanted pure bred models, and she became most irrate and told me in no uncertain terms that I was ignorant about dogs and that a "paphuahua" is recognised by all kennel clubs and she had a pedigree to prove it. I gave up at that point! (sigh)

But Sam they are recognised along with the Labradoodles and other doodly breeds, they do have a pedigree after all ;-)
