Hello all! :-)

I have been doing scootering with my GSD for about a year now. She loves to run but isn't too happy about running in front of me, she would much prefer to be at my side, but that kind of defeats the object of dog scootering lol! :-)
So I've decided we are going to do bike jouring instead. I've seen an attachment thingy on snowpawstore that attaches to just under the seat of the bike, just wondering has anybody got one/used one before? would like the pros and cons of it and also what line did you/can you use? because its going to need to be quite short compared to the line I've got for the scooter.

Bikejoring is when the dog runs ahead of you similar to the scooter I would imagine I use this attachment http://www.nooksackracing.com/bikejoring.html as it takes the line over the wheel, you would also need a long line because it is such a fast sport.

Im guessing you just want to cycle with your dog alongside you ? I did have one of those attachments that fits under the saddle - bought it from someone on here I believe ..... and then sold it onto someone else on here because I never got round to using it !!  I was a bit worried about biking with the dog attached like that incase he lurched to the side and pulled me off

Sorry, I didn't explain well at all! Yeah I mean her running along side rather than ahead of me. When we are on the scooter she keeps looking back every few seconds to check I'm still there and wont run properly. She loves it when OH comes out with us because he usually rides his bike ahead and she loves to keep up with him. I suppose she's just a follower, not a leader :-)
I did look at them attachment's that go on the side of your scooter like a frame over the dog, so they are still pulling but they are just at the side of you.
I'm a bit worried about the bike attachment things that if I fall off the bike and it tips over that she get's hit by it, if the line is too short, but then if too long could get tangled? oh I'm too confused!

think this :-

http://www.springer-uk.com

is something like you are looking for, daughter got 1 about 5 years ago and tried Rott, GSD and Xbreed on it (NO not all together  ) all seemed reasonably comfortable with it, and because of the spring-thing they don't pull you off if they pull sideways a bit.

Hi,
I have recently come across a site selling a new dog scooter called tufftrail, they are well cool and i am going to get one.
Anybody who wants a look its tufftrail.co.uk.
I like everything about this scooter it looks as though it can handle anything and also the details like a waterbottle  great for me or my dogs more like.
