I have just bought myself a pandora bracelet and two charms, an angel and a budha it's fabulous. So my family now know what to buy me for birthdays and Christmas.

I've got the budda and the angel on mine too.  The angel in memory of the awful bush fires in South Australia.
I've got the dog charm too (of course!).
There are some lovely little charms available.
Big thing over here in Aus.

Ive got the links of london one and my family have been buying me beads. i have a dog for my two, a fish (pisces) for my two sons both born in March, a V from my husband so I know my name when I am senile!! An elephant so i always remember how blessed I am with my immediate family and friends, and others from friends its really precious. I also got one for my niece and my son's partners so i know what to buy them.

When each of my OH's granddaughters were born they got a gold braclet and we buy charms - however they went on to have 5!!!!! girls so my name is mud on that one.

My great nieces all 4 of them have links of london charm bracelets and I send charms to NZ ect for them on birthdays.

When i was young Mum & Dad bought me a silver charm bracelet and I have charms from my brother that died - I have passed it on to Katie my niece (no daughters me and I bought her up from 2) I think they are memory bracelets and should be cherised - a great idea!! and now quite inexpensive unlike the gold one!!!

A teacher friend of mine left her job last week for pastures new and her year 9 tutor group all got together and bought her a pandora bracelet and a book charm(she teaches english) What a lovely leaving present.
I laughed at how they found the right sze for her. A small group came to her a few days earlier saying they were doing a science experement comparing adult and childrens wrist sizes and could they measure her wrist Lol She had no clue what they were up to .

I would love a pandora bracelet! All of the charms are so beautiful but it is quite expensive :(

I bought one a few years ago when they first came out. Then lots of fakes came on the market  (try ebay) and they became in my opinion a bit chavish so I have put mine away and add charms to it but would never wear it.

lol  well bend me sideways and call me a chav, as I also have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers aswell! :D

We don't 'do' chavs in Australia...   :)

I didn't know they'd become that popular in England that they'd become 'common'!  Eugh!
- By daisysmum [gb] Date 28.07.10 10:29 UTC
I would not call myself a chav far from it. I love my new bracelet and am proud to wear it.

:D
Neither would I.  My previous reply was tongue in cheek :)
- By daisysmum [gb] Date 28.07.10 18:33 UTC
That's my idea of a joke too lol. Chavs could not find any room for one for all of their sovereigns and chains. And that's also tongue in cheek. :)
