Hi, I've got one. I really love it and it's a very good dog/ family friendly van. I haven't had mine caged out but can get 2 large crates 35" x 22" x 24" side by side in the back with all the seats up. The kids find the sliding doors handy, as I now don't have to worry about them hitting other cars when we're parked. Mine has privacy glass which is good for the dogs. It seats 5 adults fine but the back passenger seat feels hard as it is still a van.
There are some draw backs though, I found it hard to get hold of a used one and ended up contacting a Ford main dealer in Manchester (I live in Herts) who didn't mind driving down to my local garage in the same dealership group.
It can use a lot of diesel if you're heavy on your right foot lol. Also this model is the high top version so you can't get it into multi storey car parks. Mine is a 2007 and the ride can be a bit bumpy, new ones have a different suspension. We found you must fit van rated tyres (we fit Firestones), not budget ones as they wear out really fast.I haven't got parking sensors, which I wish I had.
Two of my friends have this van as well and really like it. One has Vallhunds and the other has Vallhunds and PMDs. Make sure you only look at the LX version.
