Does anybody know anything about this artist at all?

I'm familiar with the name (I studied Art for 2 years) but if my memory serves me correctly I'd have put him as a much earlier (mid 1800's I think) artist? Maybe not the same person??

This says he was born in 1988.

No it's a different one.

that's 1888 :)

Is there anything you want to know about them at all?  I go on an art forum regularly, and could ask on there, if you like? 

Just someone at work has some of his paintings and she was after details about him etc.
