We had the same problem about 2 weeks ago with us not being able to get hold of any, we were advised to get powdered goats milk and baby rusks to make a type of porriadge it worked at treat, and the company we go the powdered milk from got it to us within 48 hours.

As I wouldn't use it very long find it much easier to soak puppy food and add puppy milk to make my won porridge.

You can get it from the Pedigree direct website, I ordered mine last week with no problems. I use it for 1/2 weeks as a first weabig product and have always found it to be good

I've not used porridge - usually go for mince or rice pudding and then soaked puppy kibble with goats milk as well, they also like scrambled eggs.

I don't use porridge either, dogs don't get porridge in the wild. Why not give them a bit of scraped raw meat?

Mine ignored porridge last time so haven't bothered this time. Puppy quite likes scrambled egg, also little chunks of turkey or chicken. Had forgotten about rice pudding, presume I need something with no added sugar or salt? They also liked goats milk. Off to the supermarket tonight!

I've started getting sacks of ewe's milk from the farm suppliers to make up, much cheaper than goats milk, one lot of shep pups said it was horrid but everyone else seems to love it.

I have been using Royal Canin reproduction food, it soaks really well and my litters so far have thrived on it. I don't feed RC after that only for this weaning food stage.
