I have just been sorting out the application forms for my horses because by December 2003 all Horses, ponies and Donkies need to have a passport by Law. This information is going to be entered into a cental database which will be used by DEFRA for Disease survalence as well as the breed socity's using the information for grading purposes. And now Having just read the thread 'KC Reg or Not' does any one think it would be a good idea for all dogs to be regitered/Licenced in a similar way?

Just wondering as it would seem logical espcially if all dogs had to be chipped or tatooed as part of the documentation.

Any thoughts?

Tracy :)

Hi Tracy,
Without thinking about it - yes, it would be a good idea. Maybe once I think about it, I'll realise any downside it would have. I do think chipping or tatooing is definitely a good idea.
