i know many of you will think why she didnt do that do this but here goes....  i aquired a weimaraner 24months ago at 10 months old, with all her papers well to cut a very long story short i failed to transfer into my ownership got waylaid cause of a messy dirvorce etc etc.  had her taken to a stud 10 weeks ago with her papers safely at home , she got pregnant yay! then the house move came and ive lost everything the folder has gone i know her kennel club name d.o.b , the previous owners name whom i had her off and even the breeders name ive phoned up the kc and they have the details but cannot give them to me im desperate any help or ideas

You will need to get in touch with the previous owners for them to contact the kennel Club and issue a new transfer of ownership form, I think this is going to be the only way you will be able to register her in your name.

can you go back to the original owners or breeder for advise. Try the weimaraner rescue - they may be able to advise

the trouble is all the info was in the folder ive got her email ive been trying it but no reply :( how long do i have to reg the puppies.  Was hoping that some one on here maybe know the breeder?

Don't panic just yet - if she is only just pregnant you have a while to get it sorted out. Our pup was born 17 april and was not registered until 7 May.

no shes had the puppies on wednesday lost the papers last week .  tried the breed association too

i really dont know what else to do the info is on their database near yet so far .

If the breeder has an affix you should be able to find out who it belongs to.

You could see if you can acquire the Breed supplement for the 6 months following the dogs birth.

how do i find the affix and find out about the breed suppliment?

If you know the dogs kennel name the affix will be the first word, unless the breeder did not have one and you should be able to order old breed supplements from the KC.

will try the kennnel club again on monday hopefully they can forward  letter for me i cant see the harm in that
