Same warning again at Hampton Court flower show. Some pratt left 2 dogs in the car and the police smashed a window to get them out very distressed. Why oh Why take dogs? we left ours with Grandad who has a cupboard with biscuits and he meet up with Auntie Di for a walk with her two retrivers. Ours didnt want to come home, we got the "push off Im happy look". I hope the police caution the perpatrators it was overcast but 22 degrees, shut them in a car and see how they like it!!

people will never learn.....they are as thick as pig poo!

How awful. This happens at every event, time and time again. It breaks my heart more to hear the announcements at Dog Shows, Windsor at the weekend was dreadful, I was there on Thursday and Saturday and both days the Show manager was requesting people return to their cars/vans and these are supposed to be DOG people, who love their dogs and should know better. There was even an unentered dog tent right outside the entrance as at most shows. It beggars belief!

It was boiling at Blackpool Champ show and warnings were going out. I don't think the owners should get a warning all the windows of the car should be smashed and the dogs taken out and removed from their ownership!

What i don't get, didn't get to Windsor this year but they had on the parking passes your entry number.
Why not call out - name and shame those who have left dogs in cars, rather than calling out number plates and then going onto breed..Surely this would stop those who offend at ch shows.

There were many (polite) calls on Saturday at Windsor for owners to get their dogs out of cars/vans. Then they said the Police & RSPCA would be patrolling the car parks. Was any further action taken against these owners I wonder?

It is really infuriating but why on earth do judges not "down tools" as soon as they hear dogs in the breed they are judging involved? There is no way I continue to judge until the matter was resolved.

Jeff they eventually did that last year in Boxers, the judges refused to continue judging until the dogs had been removed from vehicles. There was a huge cheer from Boxer people and others around the ground when it went on tannoy what the judges were doing :-)..
You also find that a lot of people leave dogs in vans, now seeing as you can't always see into them you have no way of knowing if dogs in there unless they bark or even if there is any air con running its always going to be a difficult one.
