Hi All
Can anybody suggest a good odour eliminator to use on dog pee, my friend like me has got a westie boy and she has also now got a bitch pup, she is finding that the boy dog has started weeing indoors over the puppy wee where the bitch has had an accident, he has been castrated but guess this will happen when you bring a pup in.
She has been advised to get an odour eliminator to use to get rid of the smell so neither dog will keep returning there, i suggest she use odor kill which is what i got for Robbie but i don't think this is an odour eliminator this just seems like a disinfectant, she has also tried vinegar diluted but this hasn't worked either.
Any ideas would be very grateful for

Diluted Biological washing powder (or liquid). The enzymes in it help to break down the smell. Then finish off with a light misting of white vinegar or surgical spirit (rubbing alcohol in USA) to remove any lingering compounds and also provide a scent that may put them off using the area again.
I use Simple Solution, find that shifts ANYTHING! Sometimes I just pour white vinegar on a wee patch, I don't bother diluting, then dab up, then sprinkle with bicarb of soda to neutralise the smell - let that dry before hoovering up. Seems to work a treat.

a solution of white vinegar and water should remove the odour, I see she has tried this so maybe add more vinegar to the solution - it should work!
She has used 50% vinegar to water should the ratio be more vinegar than this, how long should the boy take to settle down after the pup comes in before he stops doing this and is this normal behaviour seeing as he has been castrated?
