I ave just moved house and have noticed an abundance of rabbits (much to the dogs delight). They were mainly in the back garden but today I spied one out the front. I have several planters of strawberries and rhubarb which I took from the other house. I had planned to plant them out the front as it gets loads of sun during the day. Now I am not too sure about this because of the rabbits. Are there ways to discourage them without violence? The dogs would be more than happy to help but I would rather a friendlier approach.

Having said all that....are rabbits likely to be attracted by strawberry plants (no berries at the mo cuz they are in pots with not much to grow with) and what about young rhubarb plants?

Cheers
J

Strawberry plants, quite likely...... but it would be a very unwise bunny who sampled rhubarb, as the leaves are highly poisonous.

sadly the the 1947 Agriculture Act and the 1954 Pests Act has been overturned :(
