Hi everyone. Im posting for the first time here and I have been very impressed with the suport everyone seems to give each other. So I hope you can help me too. Ive got a 6 month old border collie who is great. Hes really loving and fun. And as a responsible pet owner I want to make sure I do everything I can for him. |I would like to take him to dog classes so I was wondering is there any in the merseyside area that can be recomended?

Sorry, I can't help with training classes in your area. Just to say I have a bc pup who is six months old next week. I hope yours is as "well-behaved" as mine;)

Hi Jooles, welcome to the forum - I don't know of any personally,(not my area) but if you have a look at the APDT site, and look on the Members Index list for Merseyside they have quite a few in liverpool and wirral

Have you considered contacting your local Council? Our local dogwarden also runs training classes. If they don't, they might be able to recommend someone local. Or their website might have a "Community Groups" section that lists local training clubs.

If you contact the Kennel Club with your location, they will send you a list of KC recognised clubs in your area :-)

Jooles hi! I have a BC too I take her to flyball classes. the link leigh has left you is very helpfull for trainers etc. Keep us posted on your BC they are fantastic dogs! (oh and everyone elses dogs are brill too! ;) !!)
