Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Pups not Pooping

I have three week old pups who are very active, feeding, sleeping and growing well. I haven't noticed mum pooping them for quite a few days, and they're not doing it on their own. I sit with her a lot during the day while she feeds as she stays a little longer and gives them a better feed, but she may be doing it at night. That's probably unlikely she would only do it then. I am about to start them on other foods, but mum has provided the sole food up til now. I am hoping they are not constipated, but they seem so well. They are going to the corner of the whelping box to urinate, so have passed that hurdle, but no poops! My daughter reminded me that human babies can go for two weeks without pooping, and are just utilising all the breast milk they get. Should I worry or not? I tried the butter on the bottom and the wet face cloth with no results.

They've made a liar of me today, when I went upstairs to 'Puppyland' and there was poop everywhere! All those days of nothing and me worrying has been wiped out.
