I have to declare that the footie has been on here from the start of the world cup and I am loving it.
I have a fantasy team going, 2 of my 3 sisters enjoy it as well, we have no brothers,my father was not a sporty person, where does this come from?
Oh and I am supporting England of course.
Karen :)

I have really got into it too ! BBQ at mine tomorrow.... coming......BROB but no babzulas allowed !

Hooray...thought I was alone here, just watching USA V Ghana...between this and wimbledon there is a lot of household chores being completley neglected, that includes cooking, so a barbecue sounds like a really good idea. ;)
Karen :)

Us too, and as it has turned hot, the dogs are happy with walking later ;-)

Will content myself with the rest of the tournament, I have a fantasy dream team to follow and at work I have Denmark and Chile in the sweepstakes.
KAren :)

I had Lampard in the Golden Boot! Would be good to see Ghana win....my sweepstake!

fight........ :( thats bad, a good game though at the moment.............
Ghana were good to see...maybe.
Karen
as some of my family are from Ghana I have supported them from the start, my money is on an Argentina vs Brazil final though
i was suprised to see England make it to the final 16
they do not play as a team too much money too much pampering
they need an English manager...

Not really been watching but i thought Germany played very well last night and i'd never rule them out.. Holland are another team playing well..

I think they all have too much money sitting in thier bank accounts , that they see the world cup as breaking into thier holiday time when they could be out spending it or could be all lying on beaches in the Maldives !!
Rooney (who I dislike ) looks like he has eaten all the pies and drunk too much booze ...
I got much more enjoyment watching the Grand Prix (alonso my hero.....)
grand prix is definatly my cup of tea after Rugby
i do like watching Jenson win and love the after race interview with him! he is a sight for sore eyes x

OOh yes Alonso is very very very very nice :-D
Not so taken on the looks of the Webber man..
I'm going to be laughed at but there is something quite strangely nice about Michael Schumacher....

I'm more into motogp , although I do watch the grandprix.
Give me Valentino Rossi any day of the week!!
I think Alonso is quite nice looking but his attitude puts me off.
Casey Stoner for me! has Rossi recovered from his latest crash?

I don't care for Casey , I think he has the wrong attitude , he gets a lot of stick from the fans , which I don't agree with , but I don't think he helps matters either , when he won't do any public appearances even for charity!. But he is very talented and people should respect him.
Valentino is recovering well , and may be back for the race in Brno.
I also think Nicky Hayden is quite nice. My friend and her daughter absolutely love Jorge Lorenzo , but I just don't see it myself.
